Hello my fellow crafters, and welcome, My name is Devid and I am happy to make another blog for you. this time I am using the new Planner Essentials 49 – Rope Border to make week 9 in my planner. I am making an adjustment to the rope, making it even more realistic. I will explain step by step below.

for this project I am using Reminiscence the book 4. this book is absolutely stunning. And it has some cute pockets, tags and ephemera that you can cut out and use as I am doing here. After the base page is cut I distress the edges with Frayed Burlap.

Using some plain mixed media paper I cut out another page and cut around the rope. Using two solos of brown I swiped over this rope to give this a darker colour. when the ink was dry I used an embossing ink dauber and added that to some of the rope. than this was covered with two different colours of Distress embossing Glaze. The reason I am using those is that they are transparent, creating a nice wet look.next I glued this piece on to the base page.

With the use of the Elizabeth Craft Design Double Sided Adhesive tape I attached the pocket that came from the book to my page. I used the new hole re-enforcer on top of the tag and I cut it out several times to use on the page as well.

To finish of the page I glued some of the little tickets I cut from the book and the week number at the the top of the page. The new release also comes with a very nice and versatile stamp set. i am using two of the stamps to finish the tag and the pocket.
