Fun two for one ink smushing cards

Hello my fellow crafters, welcome to my blog. today I am playing around with a lot of different inks to create two different backgrounds. the ink smushing technique is a lot of fun and packs a punch! it can really create a lot of depth. Especially when using different sort of inks. in this case I am using ink stains, mica stains, oxide inks and sprays and that really helps to create a layered effect as these all have different opacities. Stunning Watercolor Christmas wreath + bonus!

Hello my fellow crafters, welcome to my blog. For this blog I need to give credit to Gina K. I got inspired by her Wreath builder however, as I can’t buy that here in the Netherlands, I made one myself with my Cricut. That’s the one that I am using for this card. Now to make this beautiful wreath I am, again using the S.A. Tim Holtz Winter watercolor 2 set. This set is so versatile that it can be used in many ways. I am so happy that the… Read More

Pretty flower card using Altenew layering stamp set

Hello my fellow crafters, welcome to my blog. In this video you can see me struggle with a layering stamp set. As easy as it seemed, it turned out a bit harder. However, I am sure it was user error ;). I Am also using a Sizzix embossing folder. I… Read More

Simple but effective one color card!

Hello my fellow crafters and welcome to my blog! In this blog I am making a simple card but with a high impact! Just one-color ink and a big sentiment! I am using distress ink for this card, and these tend to blend a bit blotchy. At least with me… however I do like the bright and intense color pay of these give you. And because we are using a stencil over the blended background there is nothing to worry about. I really love the simplicity of this card, and… Read More
